One Very Slow Cabin Deck Jig
I hoped to make a second jig for the front cabin deck, but this one took the entire day. With the weather closing in and my 15 November deadline approaching, I may be in the workshop a while yet.
I was hoping to make a second jig for the front cabin deck today so I can make them faster.
Well, I was so naive! ;)
It took me an entire day to make this one piece… it is terrifying as I’m racing with weather - it is definitely nice and warm for November but that may change any day. I was supposed to take a break by now but only after closing the hulls so we can come back to the workshop in January for laminating only (we have friends coming to help - Eamon (@buildingwarrior2), will you join us and Krister with Isabelle? - but it seems I’ll be here for quite a while still! Well, my unofficial deadline to get back home is 15/11 so maybe, just maybe… 🤔
