The Second Roof Goes Much Faster

I spent four days checking, measuring and moulding the first roof; the second is already epoxied together and fitting nicely. A little trimming remains, plus one suspiciously unsupported lifting operation.

The Second Roof Goes Much Faster

Well, another early start to epoxy stuff.
This shows how first roof can take 4 days while second will take probably 1.5 day.

At first I need to check absolutely everything, build correct mould (yeah, I explained already that I messed up that one however in hindsight less than expected). Then measure and recheck dimensions.

And epoxying breaks were between.

Now everything for the second roof is epoxied together and will be assembled pretty much in one process, since I know the sequence.

And yes, roof is already in place and pretty much fitting. It will need some trimming of course but varied curvature worked nicely and gaps are minimal except for the front side edges where they are small enough to get forced (about 10mm max) to shape when epoxying in place.

And no, do not ask how I managed to hang these lifts without the roof to stand on. I’m not gonna tell 😜

Ps. Tomorrow it is supposed to rain and these 37-38 idiocy in the workshop will be finished. And I’ll go back to working one shift in the day and sleeping properly 🤪
