When the Resin Dosing Pump Quit
My resin dosing pump finally gave up after almost 100 litres, so I kept today’s jobs small and postponed most epoxy work. I’m also switching from International to Jotun epoxy paint, including for future spray application.
Just little jobs today - mostly without resin, as after long service (almost 100l of resin!) dosing pump decided to quit on me. Managed to squeeze some resin for a morning run of epoxying the other side of bunks which I started on Friday - but did not want to risk it with any more important stuff. So any epoxy work is postponed till new pumps arrive (which should be on Tuesday). I also ordered some paint so I can finish off all spaces I’m closing with a nice, protective coat of a good epoxy paint.
Yes, epoxy, as I’m switching from International to Jotun, it is much cheaper than leisure market oriented International paints and since I have access to all their products, it would be silly to pay more.
Especially that Jotun products are made for spray application and that is something we want to utilise.
