The Remaining Hull Panels Finally Fit
I moved into our winter shelter and worked through the remaining hull panels. After all the stress and mistakes, it feels great to see the major joins fitting snugly and precisely.
Well. It has been a busy few days. Moving to our winter shelter - it is getting a bit cold lately - and working on the remaining hull panels.
That is something I have definitely underestimated time for. But after all the stress, all the mistakes I’m so happy to see that I managed, after all, get it right.
It is so good and gratifying to see panels fit ne after another almost like a glow. Yes, they need some tweaking on the edge since they were not cut too precisely but it is just a minor thing and me completely expected. But major things - the edge between panels and the bow end fit snugly and precisely where they are supposed to fit.
That feels really great. I’m so happy now 🙂
(And my commute now includes a bus trip 😂)
