Stern Pieces, Bulkheads and Hull Shape
I’m getting the stern pieces and bulkheads cut so I can prep the stringers, start epoxying, and make the whole hull shape visible by the end of the week.
Ok, normal service is restored: working on stern pieces, later today and probably tomorrow will get bulkheads cut and then I can prep my stringers (I need to know how long I need them to be). So probably tomorrow I’ll be epoxying bulkheads and stern + stem pieces so I can fit them on Wednesday + Thursday. That way by the end of the week the whole shape of the hull will be clearly visible and I’ll be able to start on some internal pieces and partial bulkheads. And of course the partition in main cabin and galley: in starboard hull it is a large, full height partition between cabin and shower/toilet - and in the galley it is only a small partial piece hidden under the worktop and, on the other side of the hull, making up the side of the steps.
