Rounding the Hulls Before Laminating

I’m finishing the hulls, rounding edges and bows before giving the workshop a serious clean for laminating. We also helped put Krister’s BALDUR mast up by hand—a terrifying but successful five-person operation.

Rounding the Hulls Before Laminating

Rounding up the edges, creating new ones (at the stern) rounding bows, finishing touches to the hulls in general. Tomorrow great washing! Hoovering and Cleaning the hulls, washing the floors and tidying up the workshop to make lovely, clean and dust free space for laminating the hulls.
On Sunday quite a terrifying experience for both of us - but one we wouldn’t miss! We have helped Krister to put mast on his BALDUR - by hand. Terrified we were for sure, at least one boat was in the range of falling mast - but we managed to put it in place correctly with use of some cleverly applied force of 5 people :) now we know our masts can be, if needed, put up by our own efforts but it is not something we would recommend! 😜 #tiki38 #buildingwharram #allelectricboat #theseanation #baldur #tiki30
