My Spectacular Danboline Thinning Mistake

I sprayed almost everything with Danboline mixed with epoxy thinner, having failed to check the tin properly. The results were surprisingly adequate, but I’ve bought myself another day of painting with the proper thinner.

My Spectacular Danboline Thinning Mistake

It looks amazingly adequate, taking into account that what you are looking at is a major, royal mess-up!

I have sprayed almost everything before I realised what is wrong. Which is quite an achievement considering the number of things I had to paint!
I was wondering- am I really so bad at using a spray gun or what? Whatever I did it wasn’t working properly…

Well, it is really hard to admit what I actually managed to do. Let’s put it this way - spraying a paint without thinning it rarely works well. And technically I have done just that. I didn’t check what I’m taking from the shelf, just glanced - and I’ve been adding an epoxy thinner to a paint which definitely is not an epoxy paint. In short, I was spraying two fluids at the same time - Danboline and epoxy thinner.

So I would say, that for such mess-up results are amazingly ok 😂😂😂

Well, I added myself a day of work because I won’t leave all of these in such a state and I have an extra day of painting tomorrow. This time with a proper thinner!

Should work much better!
