Dry-Fitting the Hull Panels

I’m working on both hulls at once, dry-fitting, sanding and handling a steadily shrinking pile of 9mm plywood. So far the plan is working, which is always slightly unnerving.

Dry-Fitting the Hull Panels

Well, just another day in the office… a bit of dry-fitting, bit of sanding, bit of plywood handling and a bit of drawing things. Nothing new. And suddenly other 3 sheets are almost done and only 4 sheets of 9mm ply is left so it is time to get some more…
I’m actually doing both hulls at the same time- so I have one (port) prepared up to the stern and other 4 sheets will go for middle and second last from the stern on the starboard hull. If I’m calculating right by then I’ll have all the remaining 9mm plywood in the workshop so I’ll just continue from there, finishing the stern and moving to two front panels in both hulls.
At least that is the plan. Now we wait for huge laughter from above in 3, 2, 1 …. 😂

It is quite unnerving when things go according to plan… so just shut up and keep going, hopefully I’ll finish before fate decides to mess up (I am quietly hoping that I had my share of bad luck on this build!).
