Dry-Fitting the Hull Floors

I’m dry-fitting the floors before the epoxy work, and the best surprise is that the hulls are actually identical at floor level. A floor made for one fits snugly into the other—which feels like an achievement.

Dry-Fitting the Hull Floors

Fitting floors.

Ok, for now just dry fit since it still needs some work under the floor level but we are working on floors as well. They still need to be epoxied and prepared before they are fitted as the next finished part of the hulls.

But there is one important lesson from this exercise: THE HULLS ARE IDENTICAL.
Well, when you’re building two different pieces you stopped taking that part foe granted long before turning them over :) actually, for most part of this process I have assumed I’ll end up with two slightly but DIFFERENT hulls.

Nice to know they are, at least at floor levels- identical. Floors made for one fit snugly into the other. I think I can call it some kind of achievement 🤣
