Defining the Hull Edge with Filler
After a week of angry seas and three named storms, I finally got back to the workshop. A more fluid second layer of epoxy filler worked beautifully, and the hull edge is now taking its final shape.
Well, storms passed, after a week of angry seas I have finally seen a calm sea going home yesterday. Three named storms in a week is a kind of achievement and a proof that our weather is getting more extreme now.
In a workshop work goes on - yesterday a second layer of filler, now more fluid than the first one (just a cup of filler to a pump of epoxy) to make nice, smooth layer on top of sanded to shape filler. It worked so now just smoothing it even further with finer sandpaper and the hull edge is defined forever.
