Bulkheads Attached, Summer Finally Arrives
I’ve permanently attached the remaining major bulkheads to the stringers, leaving only the stems and sterns before moving on. Summer has arrived at the workshop, so I’m taking the midday heat off and finishing the fast epoxy hardener before switching to slow.
The rest of major bulkheads are already permanently attached to the stringers. Now only stems and sterns and that’s all with stringers. Going forward to the next step.
And I guess since I just made a bulk delivery of expendable fluids to the workshop we can finally call it summer 🤪
So as it is with summer I have to take a little break midday because there is really little point mixing one pump of epoxy at the time and I’m not finished with fast hardener yet. It is close and that’s why I’m not abandoning it for the slow one - it is easier to finish that batch and switch to slow for bigger jobs. And it doesn’t mean I’m working less, I simply work later in the day. It is not bad so another couple of hours and im back at work till 7-8 pm.
