Testing the Maslow CNC on Full-Scale Parts
I finally saw the first pieces of our new 7.5-metre boat at full scale. The Maslow CNC cut a test batch from cheap 9mm plywood, and my translation of the Wharram Designs plans into machine files actually worked.
Well, IT IS ALIVE!
Today I was able to see first pieces of our new boat in 1:1 scale. Full 7.5 m of it! She will be amazing!
Our diy cnc machine (say hello to Maslow CNC) is just brilliant! Below you have some photos from a cycle of cutting first test batch of pieces - we used some cheap (yes, that one IS cheap...) 9mm plywood to get to know the machine, test it and check my precision in translating paper plans from Wharram Designs into a vector drawing and then special file with commands for the machine....
And you know what? It worked... 😂
