Returning to the Shipyard This Spring
We're heading back to the Shipyard to close the hull, build the connecting beams, and finally prepare for launch. After that, I’m looking forward to the maiden voyage to Porto, electrics, interior work, coffee, visitors, and the sea.
Spring Returns — We're going back to the Shipyard.
Another spring has arrived—a season of renewal, fresh plans, and return. For us, this means returning to the Shipyard and a project that has already stretched well beyond our original expectations.
As the saying goes, "If you want to make God laugh, tell Him your plans."
This build was supposed to be a pandemic project—a year, maybe two, a time window for construction, testing, and preparations. But seasons passed, and the boat continued to follow its own timeline.
What's next? Monika first. She'll close the hull, laminate and build the connecting beams. It should take two to three months. Then, the long-awaited launch and a maiden voyage to Porto.
In Porto, there'll be Beret's time for the next phase: working on the electrics, fitting the interior, and fine-tuning the details. But also, it'll be time for visits, company, and shared moments.
There will be a place to sit, a cup of coffee, and the sea to look at. So, we hope to see you all soon.
