Glassing the Port Hull Joints

I spent the day glassing the joints in a narrow space, getting resin in my hair and probably everywhere else. Two-thirds of the port hull is done, with the rest of both hulls next before the more adventurous construction begins.

Glassing the Port Hull Joints

It takes a lot of work and effort to glass these joints - several meters of glass tape on not always even surface and in a space so narrow that a roller does not allow to exert enough pressure on the whole surface. So you have your head down, trying hard not to put resin into your hair (without much success!) or to catch loose strand of glass as it spells disaster!
And one after another, drinking tons of resin just to make sure there are not too many voids there… in short, a lot of fun today. 2/3 of port hull (yes, they soon will start to differ! So I had to make a decision which one is which…). Tomorrow rest of both hulls to glass. And then a bit more adventurous bits of construction and the results will be finally visible much faster after work :) cannot wait!
