Glass Reinforcement for the Partition
I reinforced the joint between the two partition pieces with small glass patches, while getting ready to continue with the stringers and beam cuts.
Well, I have been a bit busy outside of the workshop yesterday (and it took much longer than expected!) - but details of that are available on our coffee account (buymeacoffee/theseanation or QR code at the end). It was a bit of investigation going on.
Today I’m still tired (and slightly wet!) after yesterday so just small stuff going on here- little add-ons to our partition, since it is made of two pieces meeting in the middle, I thought a bit of reinforcement might be helpful. Firstly I was thinking in lines of plywood bit over the middle part but decided to get a bit of glass each side. Plenty of small pieces of that laying around (ok, in a single box - I like to know where things are!) so getting few of them trimmed and glassed over the connection at the top and the bottom of the partition wasn’t a lot of work. Later I may play with the bottom stringers, they are ready to be fitted. And a lot of computer work in meantime.
And tomorrow stringer continued - plus getting back to cutting beam through sides.
She is growing!
