Bulkhead 8 and the Shower Bilge
I’ve fitted Bulkhead 8 in both hulls, epoxied the lower stringers and started building up the shower bilge with epoxy, glass bubbles and microspheres. Next up are more partitions, a seat and cupboard bottom, and plenty more cutting.
Little by little, small things I have been preparing for last couple of weeks are appearing in the hulls :)
Bulkhead 8 is fitted in both hulls now, lower stringers epoxied, shower bilge fitted and slowly being filled - mistake! - epoxied and epoxied again - it will be several layers of epoxy/glass bubbles/microspheres slurp (according to tests by Gougeon brothers two layers are enough to make thing waterproof and more than three increase the protection only a little - but I need that also rather smoother than it is now :) ).
Next in line are partitions between bulkheads 5 and 6 (yes, in one of the hulls that is a rather significant chunk of plywood!) and seat/cupboard bottom in one of the hulls. And we get around with the stringers - and back to cutting a lot of stuff!
