- Description: I spent ten uninterrupted hours laminating the hull, with no coffee and a few mistakes to repair. Exhausted but very happy, I’m moving on to epoxy, aramid tape and the next hull.

Well, if I ever again say something about sanding not being fun, please kindly remind me that when sanding I can at least take a break.
Instead of working through the night, which we agreed was rather stupid idea, I came to the workshop before 7am and started at 7am (no breakfast, coffees etc - no distractions!). Mere 10 hours later I can finally say: hull is laminated. Of course I messed up some bits, 10hrs without coffee tends to help in that - but not too much and nothing little elbow grease and surform plus a bit of high density filler cannot fix - but still I guaranteed myself extra day of work on that.
Later in the evening another layer of epoxy goes on, tomorrow fixing mistakes and putting aramid tape and last bit of glass (3rd layer over the keel, where the overlapping fabric didn’t reach) and cutting fabric for next hull. Friday is for fairing compound, Saturday and Sunday for next hull.

I’m exhausted but very happy :)
