Yuppie!!!!!
My wrists are finally free!

“The management plan is for Discharge. No further intervention required”
says a letter from my Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon after reviewing my records and recent RTG scans.

For now everything is stiff and with restricted movement after almost 7 weeks in cast but another couple of weeks and I should be ready to go back to boat building!

Except I won’t. No, we are not abandoning the project, far from it! But with current energy prices and knowledge from the previous winter that we are not as productive in winter, spending a lot of money on heating the shed (which after getting rid of the tent will be practically impossible!) and not doing a lot with the boat - we decided to stay in Edinburgh for winter and take care of our business.

But do not despair, we are still going to post things about our project. Especially that we will be taking care of stuff we need to put on her and that means - surprise on an all electric boat! - a lot of electrical stuff.

That side of the project draws a lot of attention and it is still a mystery - or a lot of misinformation and mess - for a lot of boat owners so we decided to make a lot of materials about this side of the project. And most posts from now till spring will be about that - how to (completely!) electrify the Wharram!
