- Description: I’ve taken stock of the workshop and the jobs still to finish before the first 9mm plywood sheets go onto Ikaroa’s stringers. Ten sheets are here, with another ten needed soon.

Well, if the hulls are SOO CLEAN it can only be one thing - something HUGE is coming! And indeed it does, I’m sitting on it. A huge pile of plywood is going to be turned into part of IKAROA very soon- all 9mm stock. Actually, I’m sitting only on part of it, because all hull sides will require 20 sheets of plywood and I have only 10 of them in the workshop- but that will be remedied soon. Before I use all ten!

So now morning was spent on cleaning, tidying up tools and taking stock of all small things I need to do before putting first sheets of 9mm onto the stringers. Like putting braces across top bulkhead no 5, partition in port hull, laminating last parts of these partition bits to the stringers, fitting last bits of mast beam knees…
And, of course, putting the new/old sheet of plans out with hull sides dimensions. Finally I’m interested in top side of this drawing!
Ps. The note from @wharramcatamarans office is hanging there for last few years. I hope it helps 😜
