- Description: I finally fitted all the stringers, checking them with 9 mm plywood before epoxying them in place. The last 5 mm cut was a careful one—sometimes slower is safer.

So, you think I’m done with stringers?
Think again.
So far only one of the bottom stringers was cut to size and fixed with copper wire, it was finally time to do the rest and slowly (very slowly!) move on.
And sometimes hand tools are superior to power tools. Especially when you need to cut 5 mm thick slice of the very last stringer - and that is the stringer in which the other end is already cut. So not really a place to mess up.
But now all of the stringers are in place, all are fitted with copper wire and all are checked with a piece of 9 mm plywood- just to avoid too many surprises later on.
Now it is only the matter of epoxying them in place and then, eventually, I’ll move on from the stringers.
